Following our post on My Nintendo gold coins not being received with UK copies of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth +, we made contact with Nintendo with evidence of our purchase.
Around a week later, we received an email explaining that the issue had been looked into and had now been resolved. We were then advised to insert the game cartridge once more and perform the process of redeeming the gold coins.
Once we redeemed our game card the points were added successfully. Issue resolved!
Nintendo’s response could mean that a system update has been fired out, fixing the bad link between the game cards and UK My Nintendo accounts. However, if you’re still having troubles, email Nintendo (service@nintendo.de) and add the following to your email:
-Proof of purchase (receipt)
-Photo of the front and back of the game box
-Your My Nintendo email address
-Your full address linked to your My Nintendo account.
